Cannoneer Uniform Requirements

The uniform requirements are based on the authentic equipment that was commonly issued to mounted artillerymen for the period 1862-1865. While variations can certainly be documented, the following equipment is required for the 18th Indiana Battery.  Care must be taken, when ordering equipment, so that the items purchased meet the standards of quality and ‘look’ of the organization. These items and costs are are based on our research of the suppliers that meet our requirements of quality and authenticity.

Waterproof Haversack

Canteen/w Blue cover
